Angela Noh
Angela is an undergraduate student majoring in chemistry. Her capstone project in the SBBC lab focuses on studying the enzymatic activity and stability of 3-chymotrypsin-like protease (3CLpro) in various coronaviruses at different pH conditions. The ultimate goal of this project is to develop a pH profile to verify the chemical mechanism of 3CLpro in these coronaviruses.
Angela is also co-writing a review paper that explores proteins’ oligomeric states as an innovative drug discovery strategy. She enjoys applying biochemical techniques to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying diseases and potential therapeutic interventions. She is particularly interested in translating research findings into clinical applications, with the goal of developing treatments that can ultimately benefit patients.
