Juliana Ferreira
Dr. Juliana Conrado Ferreira obtained her Bachelors in Biology from the University of Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil. She then went on to do Masters and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Before joining the SBBC laboratory at NYU Abu Dhabi in 2016, Dr. Ferreira was a postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of ABC in Santo Andre, SP, Brazil. Currently, Dr. Ferreira is characterizing enzymes important in cancer metabolism and COVID-19 for the discovery of new therapeutics.
